Coal is a combustible black or brownish-black sedimentary rock composed mostly of carbon, hydrocarbons and a few traces of sulfur and nitrogen. It is one of the most abundant fossil fuel produced around the world, especially the USA . Its is used around the world as a source of energy, especially for the generation of electricity and heat, which is referred to as thermal coal.
